Video: Iker Lecuona’s accident at Phillip Island FP1

Iker Lecuona ended this friday’s WSBK at Phillip Island with a smile. The spaniard, who competed in the 2020 and 2021 seasons in MotoGP and also made a race in 2019, ended today’s two free practices by securing the third best combined time (1:31.129s, +0.506s).

However, not everything went perfectly for the Team HRC man. Riding his Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, Lecuona had an accident at turn ten when he lost the front of his bike. The young athlete emerged unscathed from what happened.
